So here it is... 'Unoccupied' Homes Insurance from Plum

Here at Plum we're committed to helping you win profitable new business, so last week we were delighted to announce that in response to demand from you our brokers, we've added 'Unoccupied' a dedicated unoccupied homes policy to our range of specialist home insurance products.

Unoccupied provides you and your clients with a flexible buildings and contents underwriting solution for all types of unoccupied domestic properties:

  • Choose from three cover options - 'Bronze', 'Silver' and 'Gold'
  • Select varying policy period options - 90/180/270 days and annual cover
  • The option to extend when the policy runs out if further cover is required
  • Pro rata returns on cancellation - even on short term policies
  • A 'nil' excess - other than subsidence at £1,000

Unoccupied is an online "Quote and Buy" product, allowing you to select from the three cover options and varying policy periods to suit your client's individual needs. So provided the risk fits our online acceptance criteria, you can buy online without referral to our underwriting team. However, make sure you talk to us if you need assistance on the premium and terms, and of course we're here to help if the risk is non standard and requires some bespoke underwriting.

Unoccupied has the strength and security of Lloyd's of London underwriting.
Commission is as per your existing rate for Flex, therefore there will be no amendment to you current TOBA with us.
